Replace a Monorail Drawer Track

Before You Begin﻿
This instructional guide is meant to be used for a bottom rail track kit. Please refer to Prime-Line's Monorail Drawer Track Repair Kit R 7137.

The drawer opening should be 1/4" wider and 5/16" higher than the drawer. Secure all parts with nails, staples, or screws.
﻿
You will need the following tools for the installation:
﻿
Phillips head screwdriver
Level
Hammer
Pliers
Hacksaw
Miter box

Step 1.﻿
Mount the front rollers onto the base of the opening. Press the spurs into the wood and fasten it with screws. 

Step 2.﻿
Mount the roller bracket at the center line of the drawer with the scribed line on the roller bracket.

NOTE: Make sure the bracket is flush to the bottom of the drawer.

Step 3.The metal tabs can be bent for cross-member mounting. Locate the vertical line at the center of the drawer opening and apply the backplate.

Step 4.Open and close the drawer to test the smoothness of the track. It should not be catching on anything. If so, go back and examine the alignment of the track.

Your drawer track is now replaced, and your drawer is ready to be used again.
