Install the High Security Door Lock Finger Pull Adaptor

The Prime-Line High Security Door Lock has a new attachment that makes operating it much easier — the Finger Pull Adapter upgrades your security system by making it easier to operate, which improves safety and peace of mind.

Step 1: Clean the Lock

To clean the lock, close your door and ensure your lock is visible. Clean it thoroughly with an alcohol wipe to remove any dust, oil, and debris that may be on it. This will ensure the Finger Pull Adapter can easily attack to the lock.

Step 2: Prepare the Finger Pull

To prepare the finger pull for installation, first, remove it from the packaging. On the back of the finger pull, there is double sided tape attached; carefully remove the backing of the tape only when you're ready to apply the finger pull to the lock.

Step 3: Press the Finger Pull onto the Lock

To attach the finger pull to the lock, guide the finger pull onto the lock. Press firm into place and it allow it to set for 2 hours for the best performance.

NOTE: The shape of the finger pull matches the area of the lock where it is intended to fit.

If your door opens on the right side, the finger pull should be pointing left. If your door opens on the left side, the finger pull should be pointing right.

Once installed and set, test the lock with the new finger pull attachment to ensure correct installation.
